developing your own potential

In the end, you are the only person responsible for your development, as a person and a worker or manager. There are four key areas to think about:
  • self awareness and self understanding, including challenging your self limiting beliefs
  • understanding your impact on other people
  • developing your skills knowledge and understanding
  • understanding the way your organisation works
How can you take your own development in hand? You'll find some material on the New Manager site.

In the meantime, think about your own style and preferences, and notice the way that other people work differently. They may see the world differently too.
